The Program and Events Team was established in April 2010 and is charged with developing a program of annual Chapter events that may include:
- GIS In Action Conference
- Training Workshop(s)
- Kool/Hot Apps
- Open Source Applications/Activities
- GIS Day
- The Unconference Conference
- Joint activities with Washington URISA (British Columbia)
- Other events
The team plans for and conducts the events (with assistance from an extended group of volunteers)
The team has not had an opportunity to develop a Mission Statement, Vision, Deliverables and a Timeline.
Without the volunteer members of the Program and Events team, there would be no events. We thank members of the team in advance for their amazing efforts!
