Program Highlights

  • Technical Tracks: At least three tracks will be offered each day, consisting of panel discussions debating hot-topics, traditional sessions - with two-to-three presentations per session and technical workshops providing in-depth discussion of issues and training in applications most relevant to the geospatial community.
  • Special Keynote Speakers including: Commissioner Randy Johnson - Hennepin County, Minnesota, Jim Plasker - ASPRS Executive Director, Curt Sumner -National Society of Professional Surveyors, Brent Jones - ESRI's Surveying and Engineering Manager, and Mano Marks - Google (invited).
  • The Exhibit Hall will open on Wednesday at 8:30AM and remain open until Thursday at 3:00PM. The hall will feature as many as 20 vendors in GIS related technology and services. This is an opportunity to see and discuss the latest advances in the industry.

  • Vendor Social will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00PM to 7:00PM in the Ballroom. Join your peers in a more relaxed atmosphere with music, food and beverages. Musical entertainment to be announced. You will also find two free drink tickets in your registration packet.
  • The Women in GIS Social will be held on Tuesday evening from 4:30 - 6:30pm, featuring Cleavland High School's Jazz Band.
  • The Poster Session will be held Tuesday during the Vender Social on Wednesday evening.
