The purpose of the Oregon GIS Association is to increase the knowledge and ability
of GIS Coordinators in Oregon, promote the exchange of information among members
and the GIS community, promote the Association's unique perspectives, influence
State and Federal GIS strategies and legislation, and promote the establishment of
data
structure and metadata guidelines and standards.
