Interested in getting more involved with Oregon & SW Washington URISA? We hope you are and that you consider volunteering to serve on one of the Chapter's virtual teams. OR-URISA has assembled several teams made up of groups of people who work interdependently and with shared purpose across space, time, and organization boundaries using technology to communicate and collaborate. Our teams typically consist of a small number of people with complementary skills who are equally committed to a common purpose, goal, and working approach for which they hold themselves mutually accountable.
Teams have been organized for the following targeted areas:
Programs and Events Team - Focused on establishing and conducting a program of events to be held each year.
Member Support Team - Focused on developing a program to support chapter members.
Financial Team - Focused on assuring the strength of our finances and developing an annual budget
Communications/Marketing/Social Networking Team - Focused on how we can best communicate with our members and take advantage of new social networking opportunities.
Scholarship Team - Responsible for developing a scholarship and outreach program that benefits students and chapter members.
Business Team - Responsible for refining our governance model and administering our Non-Profit organization.
