Sample Extensions

Discussion of ArcView Sample & User Created Extensions

Extensions are typically several scripts that perform a related function. An extension must be installed in the Ext32 directory (on Windows) for it to be used. There are approximately 24 sample extensions that come bundled with AV and many user developed scripts that are available on the Internet. ESRI and other third party vendors also produce several pay extensions that perform specailized functions.
